Do you already know your identity?
Cheer up to discover it

In this 14th edition of the International Film Festival on Human Rights we intend to create, through cinema and photography, a place for meeting and reflection about the issue of identity. Identity is like a tree firmly rooted in the past in order to blossom in the actions and choices of the present. Each person needs their identity to freely develop their potential and choose their own path, becoming the architect of his own destiny.

Who and what am I? Who and what do I really want to be?

How do we represent ourselves and how much of the others represent us?

Film and photography have this amazing capacity to penetrate the essence of reality, revealing fragments of identity sometimes hidden from the subjects themselves and arousing feelings of belonging that makes them recognized on values, beliefs, symbols or behaviors of the social group to which they belong.
Social memory is related to the identity of any community where everyone knows who is in the amount of past experience, present commitments and objectives for the future. In this context, individuals are defined as persons through the necessary relations of mutual respect that allow to reach a balance in diversity.
