This is the Berlin Philharmonic’s first big educational project: directed by Royston Maldoom, 250 children and young people of different social and geographical backgrounds practice the choreography for Stravinsky’s ballet “The Rite of Spring”. Meanwhile, the Berlin Philharmonic rehearses for an acclaimed performance in the Treptow Arena under the supervision of Sir Simon Rattle.
