Lantouri is the name of a criminal gang in Tehran. Pasha, one of its members, falls for Maryam, a social activist/journalist who has started a non-violence, pro-forgiveness campaign. Maryam rejects Pasha´s love, and he splashes acid on her face. Now, Maryam asks for an eye-for-an-eye punishment according to the Islamic Punitive Laws.
