Through interviews with members of slum organization Corriente Villera Independiente, the local Caacupé church, the Amor y Paz soup kitchen and the social movement Darío Santillán, we look into the villa 21-24 slum, how it was eliminated during the dictatorship and rebuilt upon the return of democracy.
