Roberto Pérez Rocha

Jury President

Director for the International Anti-Corruption Conference Series (IACC) and Global Initiatives at TI. Founder of the IACC Global Young Journalists Network and the Global Anti-Corruption Game Changers platform hosts initiatives like the Social Entrepreneurs Initiative against Corruption. In supporting film and documentary directors Roberto is currently working towards fostering collaboration between investigative journalists, film directors and social justice advocates.

 
 

Katja Alemann

Born in Buenos Aires. Actress, writer and producer in several projects. She is worried about the irresponsibility related to how we consume and generate trash, in 2009 she founded the NGO “ReciclARTE, el arte de reciclar las ideas”. Within that context, she published her last book “Dos mil sin cuenta, La novela del porvenir”.

 
 

Matías Arias

Graphic designer from the University of Buenos Aires. Taught Graphic Design III at the FADU, chief of product advertisement and marketing manager at the Bank of the Argentine Nation. Worked in the independent production of art for videoclips and shorts for FICCI, SURMIC, FICT y FESAALP.

 
 

Ulises de la Orden

Born in Buenos Aires in 1970. Studied film direction at Universidad del Cine and since 2006 teaches Film Direction at ENERC, a cinematography school funded by INCAA. He has directed three feature documentary films: “Rio Arriba”, “Tierra Adentro” and “Desierto Verde”. He is now filming his fourth film, “Mujer Entera” and working as Executive Producer at UNTREF MEDIA.

 
 

Sergio Federovisky

Biologist, environmental journalist. President of Agencia Ambiental de La Plata. Host of “Contaminación Cero”, his TV Show. Author of “Los mitos del medio ambiente”, “Historia del medio ambiente”, “El medio ambiente no le importa a nadie” y “Argentina, de espaldas a la ecología” (Le Monde Diplomatique). Professor and researcher on environmental issues.

Pablo De Vita

Jury President

Graphic and sound designer (UBA) graduate in cultural management (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), received a scholarship form Carolina University of Prague, collaborated with the newspaper La Nación and with a stage at La Repubblica (Roma). Winner of the best culture journalist award (Italian Embassy) and special mention at the 2013 Film Festival of Paraguay. He takes part in the Sociedad Española de Estudios de la Comunicación Iberoamericana and in PEN Club Internacional.

 
 

Pablo D’Alo Abba

Director, producer and scriptwriter. He studied at Escuela Profesional de Cinematografía and at Universidad de Belgrano. He directs movies, TV ads, documentary films and TV shows. In 2010, he released “Vienen por el oro, vienen por todo”, his first feature documentary film and won the best movie award in twelve international movie festivals.

 
 

Mariela Silvestein

Sociologist and writer. President of the NGO Conciencia Solidaria, for the care of environment, ecological balance, Human Rights, mineral, plant and animal rights. She conducts the Basta Ya Campaign, for the ban of surface and radioactive mining. Member of the socio-environmental work team of the Americanist Studies Open Class in the Philosophy and Literature College at UBA.

Pablo J. Domínguez Zoth

Journalist. He holds a Diploma in Educational Managment. Member of the audiovisual production team of the National Ministry of Education (Ministerio de Educación de la Nación). ICT teacher. Member of SIGNIS Argentina.

 
 

Rocco Oppedisano

Mathematician. Filmmaker. Director of more than 170 cinema-television works, including documentaries and miniseries for RAI-TV (Italy) and Telemundo Network (USA). Tenured professor of Script, Direction and Production at the UNS and Audiovisual Media at UB. Head of the “Emprendimientos audiovisuales” course of studies at UPSO. Author, scriptwriter and co-producer of the film “Cómplices del silencio”. President of SIGNIS Argentina and Vicepresident of SIGNIS South America.

 
 

María Laura Vella

Professor of Literature. She has a degree in Educational Institutions Managment. Professor of Language and Literature Practices. She conducts literature workshops for children and adolescents. She collaborates in the Coordinación de Cine Mundo Chico of Morón since 2012. Member of SIGNIS.
