The film focuses on the protection of Wirikuta, the sacred Huichol territory, in the face of the threat that mining represents. These indigenous people embark on a spiritual crusade to protect life. We delve into the worldview of the wixárika culture, which sustains that the earth and every being that inhabits it, that every element of nature, is sacred. In Wirikuta grows the peyote, a key element of the wixárika spirituality, since it is the door that allows communication with the gods.
