Art for Social Transformation

The International Film Festival for Human Rights, organized by DerHumALC Multimedia Institute, will carry out its 15th edition from August 7 to August 14, 2013, in the City of Buenos Aires.

For 15 years, the aim of the International Film Festival for Human Rights is to present the best works that cover any social issue related to the environment and human rights defense from multiple and original points of view, promoting in this way analytical films which contribute to social transformation.

In this 15th edition, the Festival´s traditional sections -Memory, Gender Views, Childhood and Youth, Migrants, Reality, Environment and Native People- will take the thematic approach TransformArte, art for social transformation, so installing a space to enable reflection on the changes that art and creation in its many appearances can produce.
